What you will do as a Process Operator: - Operate Processing (Extrusion) Equipment safely, including Mixing & Batching Tank Stations, Transfer Pumps, Evaporator, Extruder, Cooling Tunnels, and Guillotines
- Set up and disassemble Processing Equipment for start-up and shutdown as needed
- Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain processing variables according to the production schedule
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform basic quality control checks for flavor and color, and record lot numbers and ingredients used
- Measure and minimize scrap and rework
- Record equipment downtime and throughput
- Document processing data using the ERP system
- Clean and sanitize primary processing equipment as required
- Transport ingredients and materials throughout the plant manually or with powered equipment
What you need to be a Process Operator:- High school Diploma
- 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Must have a high attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Able to stand/walk for majority of shift
- Must have reliable transportation
