Summary CTC Group is seeking Process Engineers, Levels 1-3 to apply their skills in process improvement and engineering procedures and principles to help CTC's customer improve and align Enterprise-level processes. As a Process Engineer, you will enable project teams to accomplish project activities, goals, and objectives, as well as coordinate the transfer of new engineering processes, practices, and procedures to project teams through group facilitation, interviews, training, and other forms of knowledge transfer. You will also serve as a coordinator between multiple project teams to facilitate the seamless integration of Enterprise-wide engineering efforts. Responsibilities Develop informal and formal plans for process assessments
Work closely with development and engineering process teams to determine organizational
readiness for assessment
Coordinate, schedule, and lead assessment teams in conducting formal and informal
assessments
Analyze assessment results and make recommendations for process improvement
Assess progress against process improvement initiatives and report findings
Evaluate systems engineering and software engineering processes to address problems with
process workflows, organizational structure, and alignment and planning
Assist in defining Process Improvement strategies and lessons learned
Facilitates project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives.
Coordinates the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams by providing group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer. Acts as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure Enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.
Develop the plan for process assessments, both informal and formal.
Work closely with the systems and software engineering process development team members to determine organizational readiness for assessment as well as in conducting assessment.
Coordinate and schedule process assessments
Lead assessment teams in conducting both formal and informal assessments
Analyze assessment results and make improvement recommendations
Ensure assessment results and recommendation are used as the basis for improvement plan
Assess Process Improvement progress and report findings
Evaluate Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes to address problems with process work flow , organizational structure and alignment and planning.
Assist in defining Process Improvement strategy and lesson team
Conducts training e ions and workshops for Process improvement activities
Assist in Enterprise level System and Software Engineering Process improvement initiative
Lead process improvement efforts utilizing CMM/CMMI or other similar process models including six sigma.
Produce and enable managed, repeatable, defined, processes and eliminate waste, reduce process variation, and optimize process efficiency.
Qualifications Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or education from an accredited college or university is required.
Level 1 Requirements Five (5) years' experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Experience is to include, within the past five (5) years, three (3) years experience in: facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques. organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
Level 2 Requirements Ten (10) years' experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years experience in: facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques. organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
Level 3 Requirements Fifteen (15) years' experience is required.
Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and, evaluation. process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
