Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our solar manufacturing company. The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and a passion for renewable energy.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for solar panel production, including cell fabrication, module assembly, and testing.

Conduct production line start- up at the beginning of the shift and closes down at the end of the shift.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and maintenance to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve manufacturing issues and improve product quality and yield.

Develop and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.

Implement statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and control process variables and ensure process stability and capability.

Lead process validation activities for new equipment, processes, and products, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and reports.

Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and materials to improve manufacturing processes and capabilities.

Train production operators and technicians on new processes, equipment, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lean manufacturing projects to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

Maintain accurate records of process data, performance metrics, and improvement initiatives.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in process simulation, modeling, and optimization tools.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment used in solar panel production.

Physical Requirements:

Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required, mandarin speaking preferred

Minimum of three years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
