We're hiring a Process Engineer for a leading manufacturing company. Your role involves ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and process improvements. Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities and requirements:
Responsibilities:
Lead safety and environmental compliance, fostering a culture of safety engagement.
Provide team training, guidance, and maintain a positive work environment.
Support the design and installation of equipment and processes.
Drive continuous process improvements, collaborating with Operations and Engineering.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, analyze operational data, and support capital improvement projects.
Conduct risk analysis and be a back-up supervisor when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering (MS/MBA is a plus).
3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in heavy manufacturing.
Strong technical and analytical skills, proficiency in SPC and DOE methodologies.
Previous project management experience is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and prior supervisory experience.
Command of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement mindset.
Effective communication skills for collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), familiarity with other software applications is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards is a plus.
