Process Control Analyst

Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 130 years, is seeking a Process Control Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that can demonstrate organization, a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing support to JDF Operations, Marketing & Sales, QA/PD, and Customer Service by managing internal product information systems for finished product formula, product specifications, operating procedures, code dating information, packaging & palletizing systems. Implement and verify process control systems including statistical analysis for Operations and QA.

Responsibilities:

Internal auditor for Lab, HACCP, and Operations
Maintain key components for Operational Equipment
Act as specification superintendent for QA/PD for developing operations product/ingredient packets and systems.
Provide technical support to Marketing and Sales
Act as a liaison with PD, Purchasing, Operations, and Plant QA staff to implement process and product changes
Statistical process control resource for Production and QA departments.
Accept special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree in Food Science or relevant manufacturing experience.
5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Technical Service Analyst in the process meats industry or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and detail oriented
High level of accuracy and organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
Walking, Bending, Stooping, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Hearing
Ability to reach about shoulders
Lift and carry up to 50lbs
Exposer to cold, hot, damp and noisy environments
