Job Title: Business Support Specialist/Process Analyst

Daily use of SAP to review customer bill payment history.

Daily follow up on customer inquiries regarding their Energy Efficiency program On Bill Repayment OBR obligations and OBR exception reviews

Liaising with Residential program Implementation Contractor and their customer care vendor, Client's CEF EE Agents, RES program implementation team members to resolve OBR questions.

Producing a monthly OBR Repayment Report

Reconciling OBR activity to SAP to OBR Billing uploads

Job Summary

This is a multi-level growth series position (Business Support Specialist/Process Analyst); placement is dependent upon the skills and experience of the candidate. The below duties and responsibilities will vary based on assignments.

This position supports energy efficiency program delivery through a combination of internal and external resources to meet program goals.

Provide analytical and program implementation support for energy efficiency programs and support the workforce jobs initiative, electric vehicle and energy storage.

This includes working with third party vendors to deliver programs to market; the development, preparation and analysis of operational reports; development of procedures/process improvements; technical support and expertise to process owners.

Expectations will vary based upon the level of the position in this growth series.

Job Responsibilities:

At the Business Support Specialist Level:

Provide program implementation and analytical support for energy efficiency programs. Support program development process by assessing other detailed offerings of related programs so that they can be incorporated into the plan, through development and launch; and subsequent enhancements and offerings.

Collaborates with other functional groups throughout the Company to ensure program offerings are delivered to market according to specifications and approved Company policies and procedures. Support the development, maintenance, data collection, analysis and preparation for weekly and monthly operational reports.

Develop and maintain databases to support program operations. Develop and generate ad-hoc reports and operational/financial reports from existing systems, including but not limited to SAP and DSMC (DSM Central is a workflow management and reporting program). Lead or support new program development initiatives, including process design and systems design.

Lead or support process improvement initiatives based on scorecard gaps and monitoring assessments. Develop and prepare various management reports, internal audits, spreadsheets and charts of key program and departmental processes and metrics.

Gather and link data from diverse sources to identify data driven improvement opportunities. Represent the department on various cross-functional teams. Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Prepare PowerPoint presentations to summarize analyses and recommendations.

At the Process Analyst Level: All of the above as well as: Play a leadership role in the development, recommendation and implementation of new procedures/process improvements, often via cross-functional teams.

Prepare status reports for management, developing and delivering appropriate communication materials. Provide technical expertise and support to process owners.

Drive efficiency and process improvement, utilizing leadership skills, data analysis and strong understanding of the business strategies.

Foster the refinement, understanding and enhanced utilization of process measures and benchmarking.

Work with outside vendors to oversee development of long range plans, potential studies, program evaluation, and special projects, as needed.

Job Specific Qualifications

Business Support Specialist (Day One Requirements):

BS/BA degree

1+ years of relevant work experience: business/financial analysis experience

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; strong attention to detail

Demonstrated MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and PC skills.

Business Support Specialist (Desired) :

All of the above plus:

Additional 1 1 2 years' relevant work experience

Demonstrated high level of knowledge of residential energy efficiency programs, processes and practices.

Ability to present written and oral work product clearly and concisely.

Advanced level of Excel experience

Proficient in creating and maintaining databases in either Excel or Access

The successful candidate must develop the desired job requirements within 18 months, supported by an individual development plan.

Process Analyst (Required):

All of the above plus:

5+ years relevant work experience including business/financial modeling experience,

Experience in database management.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills

Process Analyst (Desired):

Knowledge of Business Warehouse, SAP, Access, Sharepoint,

Knowledge of utility tariffs and accounting

Comment: may want to consider EE knowledge

Drive efficiency and process improvement through knowledge of continuous improvement tools.

Experience in managing external vendors.
