Job Description Summary Operate, maintain, and repair the JS1000 Cobalt irradiator and FANUC robotic loading and unloading systems. Job Overview: Operate, maintain, and repair the JS1000 Cobalt irradiator and FANUC robotic loading and unloading systems. Skills (include instrumentation or special equipment) Basic Electrical / Mechanical / pneumatic Good understanding of electric motors, brakes, gear boxes, rollers, and sensors, Use of radiation meters. Education/Degree High School Diploma/GED required. Two-year technical degree preferred. Must be able to speak, read & write English Licenses/Certificates Ability to obtain Licensed Radiation worker. Experience (indicate a range) 2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance preferred. Other abilities PLC, welding, and fabrication preferred (35%) Induction of products into the FANUC material handling system (20%) Perform PM's and repairs (20%) Operate a fork lift and other equipment (5%) Product reconciliation after sterilization (5%) Operate the Nortrack irradiator control system (5%) Maintain Licensed Radiation worker certification (5%) Works on assigned projects (5%) Perform product inspection For certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
