Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner Compensation
- The pay for this position is $58.64-$71 per hour depending on service region
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner Highlights
- This position is a W2 contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Currently scheduled through 12/31/2024
- The required availability for this position is PRN through Sept then FT (Exact hours TBD, but current business hours are 6am-11pm, including weekends and rotating holidays)
Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- The Provider- Nurse Practitioner leverages administrative support in addition to delivering patient care services through virtual technology. The ratio of work is dependent upon patient demand. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. Encounters are documented utilizing an electronic health record (EHR). This role reports directly to the Virtual Care SPM.
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
- Serving as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives.
- Program development and process improvement insight as a key expert in both roles providing acute care and behavioral health services.
- Quality and Training background to support onboarding of new providers and quality oversight of behavioral health care.
Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse roles required.
- License Requirements: Must be licensed in AT LEAST THREE states within one region
- Region 1: AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, NE, TN, TX, WY, NV
- Region 2: AK, AZ, CA, HI, IL, MN, MT, NM, OR, UT, WA, MO
- Region 3: DC, DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, VT
- Region 4: CT, GA, NC, ND, NJ, NY, PA, SC, SD, VA, WI, WV
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
- Is proficient with information management and technology
- Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care
