Position Summary General Summary/Responsibilities: The Salem Heights Staff Nurse (SHSRN) is accountable for the assessment, documentation, and evaluation of patients at Salem Heights and for the delivery of health services and resources that will promote self-responsibility for physical well-being, health and independence. The Salem Heights Staff Nurse will follow policies, procedures, regulatory rules and report regularly to their supervisor. Qualifications Education Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree Additional requirements: Type of degree: Associate's Area of study or major: Nursing (RN or LPN) Preferred educational qualifications: Bachelor's Position specific testing requirement: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration Current RN or LPN Licensure in the State of Ohio CPR Certification Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience Prior job title or occupational experience: A minimum of one year clinical experience in acute care setting. Clinical experience must have occurred within the last three years unless employed currently in home care setting Prior specific functional responsibilities: N/A Preferred experience: N/A Other experience requirements: N/A Knowledge/Skills Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting, up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to maneuver throughout hallways and small areas.
