Perimeter Behavioral of Forrest City has an immediate opening for a Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Our Licensed Therapist responsibilities include some of the following:

Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient

Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patient's life when appropriate and provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy

Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community based social and mental health agencies

Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure that linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization

Facilitate groups with patients daily

Please apply if you have the following qualifications:

Education: Level of knowledge acquired through the completion from an accredited School of Mental Health Counseling, Human Services or Social Work. Must be License eligible in the State of Arkansas.

Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a Residential, Community and/or Behavioral Health setting is preferred.
