We'd love for you to become our next Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cath Lab team at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. Email for more details. Responsibilities Cares for and assesses patient pre and post catheterization. Assists physician and senior department personnel in conducting invasive tests and procedures by preparing equipment and patient for exam, monitoring patient's vital signs and electrocardiograph data, administers medications under physicians supervision and attending to patient's needs under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures. Oversees and directs work of lower classified personnel and assists in training and orientation of new department personnel. Requires an Associates degree, Bachelors preferred; along with an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. BLS and ACLS (through American Heart Association or American Red Cross) certification required. Familiarity and experience with standard cardiovascular concepts, practices, and procedures is highly preferred Grandview Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and offers programs and services in all medical and surgical areas, including Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Women's Health, Mental Health, Digestive Diseases, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Sports Medicine and Emergency Care. There are more than 600 physicians on the Grandview medical staff representing 30 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has been named an accredited program for Metabolic and Bariatric surgery by ASMBS & ACS as well as an accredited chest pain center.
