The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: Job Summary: Our DT organization ensures that RTX teammates across the globe are able to communicate, collaborate and innovate for customer success. We create leading-edge technology solutions to prevent security threats, protect the integrity of our systems and support the RTX DT infrastructures around the world. As an RTX Enterprise Common Classified (ECC) System Administrator you will collaborate and partner with a diverse cross-section of DT, Engineering, and Program Management teammates supporting a complex IT environment utilized by programs across the RTX portfolio. This role will support the deployment and configuration of end user systems and server infrastructure, with a focus on deployment automation technologies and configuration management systems. This position is located in Tewksbury, MA, Tucson, AZ, Richardson, TX, or El Segundo, CA with potential for domestic travel. We value diverse skills and experience, so don't hold back. Except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible for US Security Clearances. Responsibilities: Provide expertise and enterprise implementation knowledge of Microsoft's SCCM/MECM.
Develop advanced technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
Develop automated methods of remote deployments, and mature existing methods.
Leverage SCCM/MECM to provide security/vulnerability patches, hotfixes and other updates to enterprise user workstations and servers.
Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods of deployment; machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center.
Provide expertise knowledge of PowerShell custom reporting.
Troubleshoot highly complex system hardware and software issues.
Develop and maintaining documentation.
Develop implementation plans for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Perform in-place-upgrades as needed for servers and workstations.
Conduct advanced hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Evaluate existing systems and plans long-term strategies
Basic Qualifications: Typically requires bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience or in lieu of a bachelor's degree minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or associate degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience is required.
Must have an active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance." Must have Expert level knowledge in architecting, deploying and maintaining SCCM,MECM
Expert level understanding of security compliance technologies, e.g. MECM, SCCM, WSUS
Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a focus on testing OS and application patching and deployment to include Visual Studio, PuTTY, and Amazon Corretto amongst others as engineering applications for example
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of automation platforms and technologies such as Ansible
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge in a constantly changing environment
