The ASBU Data Science team within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (AS) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Principal/Sr. Principal Project Manager Level 3/4. This position is located in Clearfield/Roy, Utah. Our team is new to Aerospace Structures Business Unit (ASBU) and will be responsible for Data Science activities. ASBU Data Science is accountable for ensuring that our Data Architecture and High-Level reportable metrics overlay efficiently with our manufacturing business processes, across our many cross-functional departments. We're all about ensuring a great user experience for our customers. The candidate must demonstrate customer support skills, be able to work collaboratively in cross functional team settings and be able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to learn new computer applications. In this role, the candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between ASBU Data Science Team, customers, and leadership. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Responsibilities:
Work closely with Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure teams are appropriately working tasks in support of dashboards and reportable metrics
Maintain integration plans for future technology/roadmap schedules, including Digital Transformation
Analyze various data/server architecture for opportunities to maximize efficiency
Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects This role may be filled at a Level 3 or Level 4 based on the qualifications below. Basic Qualifications: Principal Project Management Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with 4 Years of experience in; Manufacturing, Production, Aeronautics, Information Technology, or Engineering; OR Master's Degree with 3 Years of experience in mentioned fields. Note: An additional 4 years of experience in mentioned fields may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Agile methodology.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other (similar) BI software.
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access. Sr. Principal Project Management Level 4: Bachelor's Degree with 8 Years of experience in; Manufacturing, Production, Aeronautics, Information Technology, or Engineering; OR Master's Degree with 6 Years of experience in mentioned fields. Note: An additional 4 years of experience in mentioned fields may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Agile methodology.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other (similar) BI software.
Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
Ability to obtain DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access. Preferred Qualifications: An active in-scope DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
Experience building training plans.
Experience with creating and delivering presentations.
Experience with Project Management solutions such as Service Now and Azure DevOps (AzDO).
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.

Salary Range 2: $95,000 - $142,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
