Travel %: 10 What you will do Kenvue Inc. is recruiting for a Principal Scientist, Essential Health Claims & Clinical Strategy, located in Skillman, NJ and Summit, NJ. We develop and market beloved brands that address the needs of consumers and health care professionals worldwide and incorporate the latest innovations. The Principal Scientist will be responsible for the implementation of claims strategies, operational execution and oversight of the substantiation of claims and design and execution of clinical studies for Oral Care. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners within R&D and marketing to develop creative claims language and will prepare all claim support documentation related to communications and claims. As a member of the broader Essential Health Translational Science organization, you will partner with team members to ensure the overall success of projects across Baby Care, Oral Care, and Wound Care. Ability to collaborate, independently manage routine processes, take measured risks, and make well-informed decisions to drive project progress are critical components of the role. Key Responsibilities Develop and substantiate claims, formulate clinical strategies, perform clinical trial related activities, review and approve product labels and advertising copy for consumers and healthcare professionals. Serve as a member of the Oral Care Claims & Clinical Research team dedicated to the development and implementation of claims support and clinical strategies Prepare claims support documentation for product launch, regulatory submissions, and advertising clearance Communicate and translate scientific and technical knowledge to substantiate claims Participate in development of scientific communications and publications Participate on cross functional teams to evaluate new product ideas and execute projects, ensuring timeline adherence and project completion Provide active scientific contributions to cross-functional project teams within the Essential Health therapeutic area. Work closely with Clinical Research, Clinical Operations, and Statistics partners to develop clinical trial protocols, and evaluate and analyze results of clinical trials to support claims Conduct all activities in accordance with high ethical/quality standards and all applicable policies and procedures. What we are looking for A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area with at least 5 years of related industry experience, a Master's degree with 3-5 years related experience, or a PhD with 1-2 years of related experience is required. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment, successfully partnering with multidisciplinary teams is required. A proven ability to translate scientific insights to meaningful consumer communication is preferred. Experience with design and execution of clinical trials is preferred.
