We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal RF-Digital Control Test System Engineer to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate in Dallas, Texas. TEE is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing digital to RF test equipment interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, to develop a test system for all Raytheon products including both lab engineering and factory production test systems. As the Principal RF Test-Digital Control Engineer, you will lead the efforts of designing digital control solutions to interface device under test to a production test system. You will collaborate with the cross functional teams from test engineering team through the Integration, Validation and Verification of the RF test systems to be released into production. You will contribute to the completion of all stages of test system development and will be responsible for helping to maintain the technical, cost and schedule aspects of your assigned projects and uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products. Please note that this opportunity is centered around RF module/CCA production testing. Extensive knowledge of FPGA, digital circuit design, mixed signal circuit board design as well as implementation of classic RF transmitter and receiver parametric testing using Keysight PNA, RF PXI and NSI equipment is required. This is an onsite role. Responsibilities to Anticipate Deliver digital control solutions to interface the device under test to RF production test system equipment
Design firmware, software, mixed signal circuit cards and cables
Collaborate in the design, integration, verification, and validation of production test solutions for RF modules and RF CCAs
Collaborate with cross functional teams to deploy test solutions that meet technical and production test needs
Resolve all technical issues and lead technical troubleshooting efforts while working with cross functional teams to meet deployment deadlines and production milestones
Basic Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience
Experience designing mixed signal, RF and digital circuit cards and cables
Experience in FPGA and digital circuit designs
Experience with RF and microwave circuits and digital assemblies
Experience with a variety of RF/MW test platforms, RF test methods, transceiver architectures, measurements with test equipment and statistical analysis
Experience in the production test of RF/Microwave modules for complex leading-edge electronics products
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications Prefer a MS or BS in Electrical Engineering
Technical knowledge of RF PWBs layout
ADS or RF modeling tools, knowledge of digital and analog circuitry
Expert on AutoCAD, Cadence, Menor Graphics, Allegro, RTL coding and Labview
Strong communication and presentation skills

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
