Cornerstone on Demand is looking for a data-driven, customer-focused individual for a Principal Product Manager role to help execute on our Talent Experience Platform vision. This role requires deep customer empathy, good problem-solving skills and most importantly collaborative PM thinking. The Principal Product Manager will partner with a dynamic cross-functional org, to expand and serve our customers worldwide.

In this Role you will:

  • Manage end to end employee experiences across Core Employee Development and Content Experience functions in order to create seamless experiences between our products.

  • Understand customer and user needs in-depth and drive conversations with strategic customers to ensure their success and bring challenges, solutions and ideas to product planning discussions

  • Oversee the roadmap and strategic direction for the Core Employee Development and Content experience foundational elements of the Talent Experience platform.

  • Work with design and distributed Engineering teams to translate business needs into clear priorities, a compelling roadmap, and high-impact, innovative features

  • Actively maintain a view of how the market, competition, and technologies as they change, and factor it, as well as feedback from internal groups and customers, into the product direction

  • Drive key strategic projects related to the Talent Experience Platform

  • Collaborate with cross-functional organization, including other Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Solution Consulting, Account Management, Customer Success and Support functions, to solve for business limiters within your control and pursue key business accelerants

  • Work with Product team members across Cornerstone to ensure a tightly integrated product strategy, removing Silos are we grow while ensuring the voice of the customer is incorporated into the Product

You have what it takes if you have .

  • 7+ years of PM experience building enterprise software products and/or tech services

  • Experience with HR Technology and best practices

  • Have led or guided PMs and Engineers in building complex and sophisticated products or platform

  • Has written multiple vision/strategy documents and product requirements document (PRD's)

  • Has worked in highly collaborative companies across time zones

  • Experience working directly with customers in collaboration with sales/systems engineering teams for large deployments and deals

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize requirements across conflicting dimensions and to be clear on the minimum capabilities that matter

  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills

  • Ability to identify patterns and synthesize disparate data into a coherent whole

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills

  • Ability to lead and influence via persuasion, patience, and energy

  • A passion for usability and a knack for simplicity

  • Hands-on, willing to do whatever it takes to get quality products and features to market on time

  • Experience with Agile software methodologies

  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

  • Consideration for privacy and security obligations
