We are currently looking for Stealth / Low Observable / Radar Cross Section (RCS) / Signature Management / Survivability Engineers to work on challenging, state of the art technical projects Do you have a passion for LO technology? Job Summary: We are seeking mid-career to senior level Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team. At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product- from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, from component to missile level RCS testing, and production support to maintainability. Responsibilities to Anticipate: The selected individual will document all activities pertaining to test preparation, data analysis, design trades, prediction results, and others. You will work within integrated product teams and support all aspects of that team's design efforts with some direction from Senior Low Observables Engineer Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers Occasional travel for business, training, and conferences Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience in Low Observable (LO) engineering Experience in Stealth (design, analysis, computational electro-magnetics (CEM), and/or test) A ctive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance . Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of computational electromagnetic codes to include full wave codes, as well as asymptotic techniques using industry standard tools such as XPATCH, CARLOS, SENTRi, etc. Strong interpersonal communication and effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reduction experience including IR CEM tools Master's degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. A current active U.S. Government in-scope DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
