Principal Cyber Test Engineer with Security Clearance

Geologics is seeking a talented Principal Cyber Test Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners based in Aurora, CO. This a 12-month contract position. Position: Principal Cyber Test Engineer Type: W-2, Contract Pay: $72.00 - $92.00 per hour Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO; but some local travel is required to support program activities Clearance Requirement: In order to be considered for this position, a current Active Secret is required.Due to the nature of work performed in the facility, U.S. citizenship is required. For any inquiries or additional details regarding Security Clearances, please visit the United States Department of State webpage: Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute test procedures for verifying cybersecurity and information assurance requirements of a complex, software-based satellite ground control system.
Identify, document, integrate and troubleshoot cybersecurity-related issues
Develop and implement automation using scripting methods or techniques
Support reporting and data analysis activities related to formal test activities
Required Skills/Qualifications: In order to be considered for this position, an Active Secret DoD clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field of study. Candidates without a Bachelor's degree will be considered if all other qualifications are met. Minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity integration/test experience on a government contract, to include:
Experience preparing and executing test procedures to verify cybersecurity requirements of a satellite ground system
Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience with script development (Python, Perl, CECIL)
Experience identifying and resolving issues with cybersecurity and information assurance policies
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) configuration and management
Experience utilizing discrepancy report systems
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
Experience with ground station satellite domains (command and telemetry, flight dynamics or mission planning)
Test Automation (Eggplant, Cucumber, Gherkin)
