Principal AWS Cloud Developer

We have an opening for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join the Fidelity Institutional Product and Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET) team. You will be part of a team that works on both client and server-side technologies, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop expertly within the Fidelity organization.

• A degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related subject area.
• Expert level knowledge in developing cloud-hosted REST services in Java/Spring Boot that integrate seamlessly with multiple UI app tiers (legacy and modern).
• Proven experience with developing and deploying applications to cloud using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS cloud deployment/application management
• 8+ years' proven experience in building enterprise web and middle tier application using Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and REST services
• Self-starter and Self-sufficient developer able to work independently under minimum supervision and own the outcome of delivering high value solutions.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Experience with Angular is a plus.
• Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core and Terraform.
• Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
• Develop high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Participate in all facets of the delivery process.

• Able to clearly present sophisticated technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical team members as needed.

At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call "Dynamic Working."
