In this role, you will partner with scientists across the organization to discover and develop the best HeliconTM peptides and tailor them to fit patients' needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative scientist to join a multidisciplinary team and help us discover and develop novel inhibitors of undruggable disease targets. Your role will report to the Senior Formulation Scientist and will be to support drug product development at FogPharma. This will require both hands-on and strategic approaches, leveraging internal and external capabilities with high flexibility. Ideal candidates will be experienced, energetic, and passionate, with a broad knowledge of parenteral formulation development. This position is primarily lab-based, and you will be a primary data generator with opportunities to influence and guide the formulation strategy for our investigative drugs. Support drug product development activities at FogPharma. Partner with early discovery through CMC to develop and implement fit-for-purpose formulations for our HeliconTM Leverage internal and external capabilities to advance our programs. Lead by example and take a hands-on approach to solving our most pressing challenges. What you'll need to be successful: MS with 7+ years or BS with 10+years of industry experience in Formulation Development. Experience developing parenteral formulations to support preclinical research, candidate selection, and IND-enabling studies. Experience with clinical drug product development and manufacturing is a plus. Experience developing fit-for-purpose analytical methods to support formulation development, especially U/HPLC-based methods. Excellent communication, organization, strategic, and cross-functional team skills. Formulation and analytical experience with parenteral small molecules and/or biologics is preferred. Experience managing external vendors for formulation and analytical development is a plus. Experience with Quality Assurance, Quality systems, and GMP production is a plus. Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings (Fog employees are required to be fully vaccinated to attend in-person work-related activities.
