Title: Primary Care Physician/Physician II State Role Title: 49152 Hiring Range: starting at $181,416 (commensurate based on experience) Pay Band: 8 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Location: Western State Hospital Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Western State Hospital is seeking a Full Time Primary Care Physician/Physician II. We are offering a sign on bonus of up to $15,000. (Must be new to state service in order to be eligible), competitive pay, and all the state benefits including health insurance and retirement benefits. Western State Hospital is a 246 bed, JCAHO accredited, state, adult (age 18 to 64) psychiatric hospital. Services include acute admissions, psychosocial rehab, special programs for the deaf and a 2-bed medical infirmary. We have onsite lab, plain film radiology, physical therapy, and part-time dentist services. Duties include provision of Primary Care services to patients at our facility with active and chronic problems, clinical supervisions of nurse practitioners and physician assistance, assistance to admissions office with pre-screening of patients with complicated medical histories and telephone call at nights and on weekends.
