Our prestigious healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in a community health setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing top-quality patient care, a strong understanding of primary care principles, and the ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse in our Primary Care Outpatient Medicine department, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within the outpatient setting, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling.
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
3. Performing initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations.
4. Updating patient records and check vital signs.
5. Coordinating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
6. Monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
7. Operating and monitoring medical equipment necessary for patient care.
8. Assisting patients with managing chronic and acute health conditions.
9. Providing health promotion, counseling, and education to patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
10. Demonstrating cultural competence in caring for patients with diverse language, culture, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in primary care, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
2. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
3. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
4. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly preferred to cater to our diverse patient population.
5. Proven experience in community health settings.
6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
7. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on preventative health care and chronic disease management.
8. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical software.
9. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
10. Current CPR/BLS certification.
