Press Operator

Press Operator located in Columbiana, OH
Responsibilities:

• Operate Presses: You will be responsible for operating both manual and automatic cycle dies/presses to manufacture products.
• Machine Setup: Set up and remove dies from presses, and perform interchangeable setup within the die as required for different products.
• Material Handling: Load coils or other raw materials into the equipment, and operate a forklift to transport materials as needed.
• Alignment and Adjustment: Align and adjust feeders, straighteners, and stops to ensure smooth press and die operation.
• Quality Control: Make necessary adjustments to maintain the quality of the products being manufactured.
• Physical Requirements: Be able to lift up to 80 pounds as part of your daily tasks.
  
  Shifts:
  Work a swing shift schedule, which includes both day and afternoon shifts. The day shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, while the afternoon shift is from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday. There is a shift differential of $1.50 for the afternoon shift.Overtime:
  
  Be prepared for possible overtime and Saturdays when needed to meet production demands.

• Experience: Previous experience as a Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is desirable.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with operating manual and automatic cycle dies/presses, as well as the ability to set up and remove dies and make necessary adjustments, is important.
• Forklift Certification: If required, possess a valid forklift operator's certification.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work both day and afternoon shifts, as well as overtime and Saturdays when necessary.
