We're seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Press Fleet Technician at our company. Here's what the position entails:


Role Summary:

  • Ensure optimal condition of our Press fleet vehicles, incorporating the latest technical enhancements.

  • Provide support during Press events and auto shows, collaborating with AG Press technical team.

  • Perform comprehensive automotive maintenance and repair tasks on Press fleet vehicles.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the technical excellence of Press fleet vehicles for loan to automotive press, such as car magazines.

  • Conduct Perfect Delivery Inspections (PDI) upon receiving vehicles into the Press fleet.

  • Perform meticulous vehicle inspections prior to loans to buff books and lifestyle publications.

  • Document all modifications, repairs, and complaints associated with each Press fleet vehicle.

  • Conduct road test drives to identify and rectify vehicle deficiencies.

  • Procure replacement parts when necessary.

  • Ensure all relevant Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and Campaigns are executed on Press fleet vehicles.

  • Coordinate spare parts and manage the return of defective parts to AG for analysis.

  • Assist in PR vehicle launch technical activities, including press events and auto shows, with press demonstration vehicles.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Support team to address vehicle technical issues.

  • Stay updated on technical advancements by attending pertinent training sessions.


Required Education: High school diploma supplemented by on-site training, trade school apprenticeship, or similar automotive training.


Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of overall experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking, leveraging logic, reason, creativity, and strategy.

  • Effective communication skills, both interpersonal and written, along with proficient presentation abilities.

  • Proficiency in computer usage and software applications.

  • Integration capabilities, adept at connecting people, processes, or systems.

  • Influencing and negotiation prowess.

  • Problem-solving aptitude.

  • Resource management skills.


Work Flexibility: Regular domestic travel is required, with infrequent international travel to Germany.


Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in the German language.

  • ASE certification is advantageous.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $37.49 per hour
