Job Summary Job Summary Works independently under the general supervision of the Child Development Program Director to operate and maintain the preschool programs to the standards set by the Child Development Division of the California Department of Education, Community Care Licensing-Title 22, and the Lake County Office of Education. The Site Supervisor is responsible for implementing curriculum, direct learning, recreational activities, and maintaining an environment that is safe, appropriate, and meets the individual needs of the children enrolled in the program. Facilitates and maintains program organization through appropriate and accurate recordkeeping and reporting requirements. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Permits:
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a current Site Supervisor Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Education: AA (or 60 units) that includes:
• 24 ECE/CD units with cores courses, as specified on the Child Development Permit Matrix;
• 16 GE units, as specified on the Child Development Permit Matrix;
• 6 administration units;
• 2 adult supervision units. Or:
• BA or higher with 12 units of ECE/CD, plus 3 units of supervised field experience in ECE/CD setting. Experience:
• 4 years of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program. (supporting documents may not be required if you are a current employee of the LCOE Preschool department) Application Process: To be considered for this position, the candidate must submit:

Comments and Other Information The employee will be a member of the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS); LCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
