Permits:
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a current Site Supervisor Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Education: AA (or 60 units) that includes:
• 24 ECE/CD units with cores courses, as specified on the Child Development Permit Matrix;
• 16 GE units, as specified on the Child Development Permit Matrix;
• 6 administration units;
• 2 adult supervision units. Or:
• BA or higher with 12 units of ECE/CD, plus 3 units of supervised field experience in ECE/CD setting. Experience:
• 4 years of teaching experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program. (supporting documents may not be required if you are a current employee of the LCOE Preschool department) Application Process: To be considered for this position, the candidate must submit:

Comments and Other Information The employee will be a member of the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS); LCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
