Preschool Afternoon Program Assistant

Requirements / Qualifications Job Summary Job Summary This position is currently open. We are hiring for an immediate start through June 8th, 2023. Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 6pm In addition, we are also hiring for the school year, with a start date of August 23, 2023. The Preschool Afternoon Program Assistant works with a team of teachers under the direction of the preschool after school program manager from 3:30-6:00 p.m. every day. The preschool after school program offers both outdoor and indoor learning and play opportunities for a multi-age (ages 2-5) group of children. The after school program extends the rich and diverse program of the school day in a manner that is flexible and appropriately meets the needs of children at the end of the day. Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate and timely end of day communication with parents, conveying information from classroom teachers.
• Support closing of the preschool at the end of the day; secure doors and windows, make sure classrooms used are ready for the cleaning crew.
