Practical Nursing Instructor

Job Responsibilities The Practical Nursing Instructor is responsible to the Dean of Health Science for the delivery of quality instruction and management of students enrolled in LPN program. Responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and evaluation of program in collaboration with peers within department. Duties include, but are not limited to, instruction responsibilities in classroom and clinical arena. Student advising and counseling. Maintaining accurate records of students progress. Assist in development of standards for admission, progression, and graduation of nursing students. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a minimum of two (2) years clinical experience as a registered or advanced practical nurse. An unencumbered active license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or another Compact state. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with nursing field teaching experience.
