Power Generation Manager II

Power Generation Journeyman, Kuwait

This role supports the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, headquartered at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, serves as the primary airlift hub and gateway for delivering combat power to joint and coalition forces in the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Qualifications:

Secret Clearance and US National status.

EGSA Certification and Power Pro Certification.

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years related experience.

Ability to follow military regulations and manufacturer's instructions.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Attention to detail and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install power generation equipment according to project requirements and specifications

Diagnose standby generator sets, system malfunctions, and service interruptions

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair of generators and facilities

Install, operate, maintain, and repair power generators and repair facilities

Place, operate, maintain, and repair spot generators, standby generators, portable generators, and light carts

Complete electronic and manual work orders and reports as required

Provide task-level guidance to less experienced personnel as directed

Maintain a fleet of power generators as assigned

Provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS)

Perform duties in accordance with military regulations and manufacturer's instructions

Perform duties in accordance with AR 750-1, AR 710-2, AR 735-5, AR 200 1, AR 58 1, AR 750-10, AR 750-6, DA Pam 750 8, TB MED 750-1, and TM 10, TM 20, TM-30, or manufacturer's instruction or operating manuals.
