JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Penn State is accepting applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Security of Software (SoS). The SOS Lab focuses on methodologies that help create secure software systems. We are seeking a highly qualified individual to work in the area of software security, including binary code analysis and hardening as well as compiler-based software security. Applicants should possess a doctoral degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and have a strong background in computer security, programming languages, or formal methods. The candidate must have an excellent track record of original research and the ability to work as part of a team.The postdoc will be provided with competitive salary and employment benefits. The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
