Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

A bit about us:

Acts as liaison between business units and the technology teams, specifically with regards to postal affairs. Provides recommendations and supports implementation of new business systems.

1. Daily partnership with technology teams responsible with maintaining all postal software. Act as key business sponsor for all things USPS technology, including presort software, commingle softwares, post presort software, mail.dat workflows and versions, labeling lists, postalone. etc.

2. Attends various USPS technical user groups to understand upcoming changes and analyze impact to Data-Mail's systems and manufacturing workflows. Communicate findings to leadership.

3. Coordinate all USPS changes through the enterprise, partnering with Postal Affairs management and business management. This includes mail.dat version changes, presort data updates, etc.

4. Update USPS data, i.e. labelling lists, presort data, as appropriate.

5. Maximize quality control by implementing and maintaining a rigorous testing process. Recommend improvements in this area.

6. Analyze systems to determine how to obtain better efficiencies and effect to production and business systems.

7. Maintains USPS technology process flow documentation throughout the enterprise.

8. Recommends procedural and business process workflow changes.

9. Provides training and guides to improve USPS regulation understanding throughout the enterprise.

10. Creates project time lines.

11. Works closely with developers to debug internal software applications and updates.

12. Tests new software and systems to ensure final goals can be met.

13. Implements approved changes. Coordinates conducts training for new systems.

14. Documents changes to ensure process is accurate and quantifiable.

15. Comply with company rules and regulations.

16. Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.

17. Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve operating efficiency of the department.

18. Keep manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.

19. Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company

Job Details

MUST HAVE Qualifications:

  • College level degree or coursework in programming plus 7 - 10 years related experience immersed in USPS technologies.
  • Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst w/ SQL/Data Knowledge who has worked w/ the USPS
  • Knowledge of the USPS Technologies- "Pre-Sort" Software- Mailstream Plus, Windowbook, Anchor MaxCASS, and MaxMover
  • SQL knowledge a plus.
