About Us:
Our client is a rapidly growing financial services firm based in Annapolis, Maryland. We specialize in managing investment portfolios for a diverse client base, providing personalized financial solutions tailored to their unique needs and goals. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Portfolio Controller to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Portfolio Controller at our client, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our clients' investment portfolios. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance and compliance of our portfolio holdings, ensuring that they align with our clients' objectives and regulatory requirements. Your analytical prowess, attention to detail, and strategic mindset will be critical in driving the success of our investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio Oversight: Monitor and analyze the performance of investment portfolios, including asset allocation, risk exposure, and return on investment.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations detailing portfolio performance, investment trends, and strategic insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
Compliance Management: Ensure that portfolio activities adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry best practices, conducting periodic audits and risk assessments as needed.
Rebalancing and Optimization: Collaborate with portfolio managers to execute trades, rebalance portfolios, and implement strategic adjustments in response to market dynamics and client preferences.
Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding portfolio-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and addressing their investment needs and concerns.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with portfolio holdings, developing strategies to mitigate risk exposure and enhance portfolio resilience.
Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio performance metrics, benchmarking against relevant indices and peer groups to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred.
Proven experience (4 years) in portfolio management, investment analysis, or related financial roles.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio theory.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and portfolio management software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
