Overview Novant Health is seeking Polysomnograph Technologist. The Polysomnographic Technologist obtains polysomnograph recordings and performs all technical duties related to the polysomnograph evaluation of sleep disorders. Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, required. Licensure/certification/registration: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required. Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, medical terminology, previous experience with computers, manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts; initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision; high degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations; ability to work flexible nighttime schedule; basic ECG recognition; general understanding of the concepts of polysomnography.
