Our firm is in search of a seasoned Permanent Political Law Attorney who will provide expert legal counsel on a variety of political law matters. This role involves advising on campaign finance, election law, lobbying disclosure, ethics rules, and all other legal and regulatory aspects of political activity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in political law and a passion for navigating the complex legal landscape of politics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on high-profile matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on a broad range of political law issues, including campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, ethics rules, and other regulatory aspects of political activity.
  • Represent clients in investigations and enforcement actions by the Federal Election Commission, Department of Justice, and other federal and state enforcement agencies.
  • Draft and review political law compliance policies and procedures.
  • Advise clients on the establishment and operation of political action committees, super PACs, and other political entities.
  • Counsel clients on the legal aspects of political contributions, lobbying activities, and other political activities.
  • Monitor and analyze new laws, regulations, and enforcement trends in the area of political law and provide timely and practical advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing top-quality legal service.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in political law, with a focus on campaign finance, election law, and lobbying disclosure.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state political law regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
