Summary You will serve as a Police Officer (Instructor) for the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY. Duties You will provide classroom studies and instruction on practical use of law enforcement equipment and techniques. You will provide instruction in Firearms Safety and conducts the Weapons Qualification in compliance with OPNAV instructions. You will analyze individual officer and organizational performance issues, identify probable causes of deficiencies, and design Sustainment Training courses to correct deficiencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Must qualify and maintain all basic patrolman qualification standards, so that in the event of heightened Force Protection Condition or other emergent situation which may require the member to stand a patrolman post.
