Come Join Our Team Cognosante is seeking to fill a Testing SME role in support of the Joint Program Management Office (JPMO)for the Department of Homeland Security. The financial systems modernization (FSM) Joint Program Management Office (JPMO) was established to manage, from a portfolio perspective, all FSM programs across DHS. The FMS JPMO is responsible for governance and successful execution, maintenance scheduling, and risk management for all DHS FSM programs and projects. FSM JPMO functions include information technology (IT) management, business transformation, portfolio management, acquisition and program management, and financial management. What is the position? Testing SME will be part of the JPMO EIS team and support the ITMB Branch Chief and other federal staff to oversee the T&E (Test and Evaluation) integrated project team (IPT) for the TRIO sustainment and the upcoming FEMA and Cube implementations. The Testing SME will provide oversight on the testing efforts conducted by the system integrator team, and validate the test plans, test execution reports, and test results. What will I get to do? Provide oversight on the test planning, test execution, and test results.
Advise the federal lead on potential risks and issues related to the test cycles.
Provide support for Test Readiness and Production Readiness Reviews.
In coordination with federal staff, create check lists that that feed Readiness Review briefs.
Create Readiness Review briefs. What qualifications do I need? US Citizen able to pass a government level background check and obtain a DHS Public Trust.
10 years' experience in a Testing Lead role.
Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Knowledge of using the IBM Rational ELM Test suite and traceability between Test scripts, Test runs, and requirements.
Experience with hands-on test management experience in large federal software projects, preferably with Oracle Financials / SAP financial systems.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of using Microsoft office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Projects.
