NexSolv, Inc is looking Pricing/Budget Analyst for our direct state client, Local resources are preferred.
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation, and execution of the MD THINK budget.
- Assist with year-end reconciliations in accordance with the State of Maryland guidelines.
- Reconcile resource hours, contract NCEs, and budget balances.
- Reconcile external agency invoices against FMIS actuals.
- Reconcile claims data for claims purposes.
- Process and track correction Journals.
- Track resource hours and invoices to NTE/budget.
- Support/review contract NTE creation to ensure aligns with appropriate budget/financials.
- Help in Agile Contract modifications (i.e., Option Year NTE increases).
- Backup for Spend Plan, DLS requests, etc.
- Track burn rates (budget, spend, and remaining) of each professional services contract at the work order and Prime Contractor level.
- Track burn rates of all budget line items.
- Assist with the preparation of expenditures.
- Research responses to DoIT/IV&V Finance questions.
- Prepare financial reports for Steering Committee or Federal decks.
Qualifications
- Experience with State of Maryland Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS)
- Experience with analyzing ANSWERS reports.
- Experience in preparing Budget Notes.
- Experience in generating Project Cost Account (PCA) codes.
- Experience in preparing Journal Entries.
- Experience in preparing Accruals.
- Experience in preparing budget projections.
- Experience working with state and federal grants.
- Experience with governmental accounting (State & Federal).
- Experience in preparing various types of Budget reports as and when needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, VersionOne, and Jira.
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Information Systems, or other related discipline
