Job Details

Our expanding Orlando, FL branch is in search of an outstanding Plumbing Designer/Engineer to enhance our team. The Mid-level Plumbing Designer/Engineer will be primarily engaged in designing various building projects, such as hotels, apartment complexes, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing plumbing systems for diverse commercial buildings
• Conducting system design calculations and selecting equipment for building applications
• Generating detailed design documentation
• Writing/editing specifications
• Conducting code compliance research
• Coordinating activities with other disciplines
• Conducting site surveys to assess and document existing conditions
• Providing construction administration support

Desired Skills:

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Capability to lead and collaborate within a team environment
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and design principles
• Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and entrepreneurial mindset
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred but not mandatory
• 3+ years of experience in design
• PE/EIT certification preferred but not obligatory
