Description: As a Plumbing designer you will specialize in the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems. These systems include water supply networks, drainage systems, sewage systems, and fixtures within healthcare, government, house, federal, and education facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings have safe and efficient plumbing systems that meet local building codes and regulations. This position will have overall responsibilities for the plumbing design on a project and will work closely with our other Engineering and Architecture disciplines on project deliverables. Responsibilities: Develop plumbing system designer within the codes and construction industry Design Piping and Plumbing systems in a team environment. Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions. Create schematic design reports and scope documents. Prepare construction documentation, including floorplan drawings, isometric diagrams, equipment and fixture schedules, and specifications. Prepare design documents appropriate for the project and in accordance with company standards. Design of appropriate plumbing systems for the project including domestic water, sanitary, storm water, gas, and medical gas systems. Performing appropriate plumbing related calculations. Coordination with other in-house disciplines as required. Review and back-check work for completeness and accurate documentation. Work with team plumbing staff to identify tasks and assign staffing to complete the plumbing design.
