Goldman Company, your essential responsibilities are to: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout, and installation of plumbing systems and fixtures. Perform take-offs from drawings, blueprints, and specifications prior to the installation and layout of plumbing systems and fixtures. Install pipe, fittings, valves, system components, pipe supports, carriers, and fixtures according to blueprints, drawings, specifications, and local codes in underground, above ground and finished applications. Teach Plumbing Helpers about best installation practices, proper use of tools, reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications and teach codes pertaining to tasks, while performing daily tasks. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of five (5) years of field experience. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently. Knowledge of local plumbing codes, and the ability to research a code question. Knowledge of basic geometry as well as addition and subtraction of fractions for measurement and dimensional purposes. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
