BASIC FUNCTION: Ensure the delivery of high quality and stable Plant IT Services in US and Canada in close cooperation with on-site automation engineering staff, Plant Managers, Group IT functions, Group Operations engineering and external partners. The delivery is based on defined Group IT Standards, ITSM processes, Information Security guidelines and IT Governance processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for specific, detailed and accurate documentation of Plant IT environment and systems Support Plant IT projects through execution, subject matter and technical expertise and, as applicable, management (e.g. plant migrations, M&A integrations) Support for planning, operations and reporting of Plant IT Services in adherence with Group IT standards Provide on-site hands & eyes support for Group IT functions and outsourced IT Service Provider Provide support for local Plant IT relevant applications Support for License Management for local Plant IT Services Purchase of local IT equipment including peripherals in adherence with Group IT procurement guidelines Support the gathering of local demands, acting as a contact partner for the local business and escalate to IT Delivery Manager or to Functional IT Heads as required Active collaboration with Group Operations, Plant Operations and Engineering Close collaboration with Plant Management Ensure all work performed is documented in ServiceNow Other duties as assigned BASIC FUNCTION: Ensure the delivery of high quality and stable Plant IT Services in US and Canada in close cooperation with on-site automation engineering staff, Plant Managers, Group IT functions, Group Operations engineering and external partners. Proven track record in IT Project Management with a special focus on Plant or Manufacturing IT Services. Strong experience and thorough understanding of Plant IT infrastructure Understanding of Industrial Control Systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA/HMI Strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure solutions including modern client management, server management including virtualization technologies, network management, server room management Experience with management of IT service providers Strong communication & collaboration skills; business English fluent IT Service Management skills, preferably with ITIL certification Project Management skills preferably with relevant certification Highly self-motivated and self-directed Ability to deal with ambiguous situations Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks and the ability to deal with a variable workload Must possess current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available for this position.
