Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to join our team. As the Plant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Location : Onsite Pocatello, Idaho

Duties :
Lead financial planning and strategy sessions that directly align with our company's initiatives in clean energy and manufacturing innovation. You will play a pivotal role in projects aimed at expanding our facilities and optimizing our energy efficiency, reflecting our commitment as highlighted by the US Secretary of Energy.
Directly contribute to strategic decisions that affect the operational efficiency and capital structure of the plant, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals of enhancing the resilience and reliability of America's electric grid.
Act as a financial advisor to the plant management team, using financial data to drive decisions and improvements in manufacturing processes that are critical to maintaining our status as a leader in transformer manufacturing in North America.
Manage all aspects of plant accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
Perform account reconciliations and oversee the month-end close process
Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
Provide financial support for capital expenditure projects
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management
Oversee accounts receivable and collections processes
Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
CPA or CMA certification is a plus
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong financial acumen and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principle
Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or similar systems
Excellent understanding of debits, credits, and financial analysis techniques
Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and best practices
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and SOX regulations
Proven track record in financial management and cost control
