You will be responsible for managing the plant's financial planning, budgeting, and cost accounting, and will play a critical role in shaping the plant's financial future.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and growth.
3. Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
4. Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
5. Work closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide expert advice on cost control and efficiency.
6. Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Drive the annual budgeting process and implement budgetary control measures to ensure the plant stays on track.
8. Evaluate and approve capital expenditure proposals, ensuring they align with the plant's financial goals.
9. Participate in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or a professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or CFA would be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within a manufacturing setting. Experience as a Plant Controller would be a plus.
3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
4. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
9. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry.
10. Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to see the big picture and make long-term financial plans.
