As the Pipe Welder you would be responsible for the welding of structural frame and piping for Industrial Heating and Chilling units.

General Information
Pay Range: $22-$27/hour boe
Location: Willoughby, OH
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-330pm with availability to work OT
Temp to Hire Opportunity with the company.

Duties/Responsibilities

• TIG and MIG welding of structural framing and piping
  Welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Inspect welds for accuracy by RMF standards.
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel, stainless steel, or aluminum parts.
• Change welding wire and gas tanks as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is properly setup and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are properly used.
• Operate forklift if required.
• Perform simple maintenance and repair when necessary.
• Thorough knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years' experience TIG welding.
• Experience in piping of SCH40 (Carbon, steel, stainless steel) sized from 1/4" to 8" pipe.
• Able to read and follow blueprints.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
