Title: Pipe Shop Supervisor / Zone Foreman Supervisor State Role Title: 79034 Hiring Range: $41,655.00 Pay Band: 4 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Location: Central State Hospital Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Provides supervision and technical guidance to foreman and techs requiring specialized skills and knowledge of several trades. Performs employee evaluations and Stay evaluations on an annual basis. Ensuring journeyman level work is performed, responsible for determining the appropriate work and safety methods that are used. Enters and assigns work through the electronic work order system, and ensure work is performed in a timely manner. Performs assignments independently, supplies quotes for projects, responsible for planning the assigned work, following sketches, diagrams and blueprints. Manage contracts and contractors. Performs under the supervision of the Physical Plant Services Director. Minimum Qualifications Any and all qualifications that you have must be represented in your application/resume as verifiable work experience. Knowledge of principles and practices of plumbing and steam systems. The ability to provide technical oversight for the maintenance, repair, and installation of the plumbing and steam systems. Combined working knowledge of construction practices. Basic computer abilities in (Word, Outlook, Excel, CMMS). Valid Virginia driver's license required.
