Pipe Layer Foreman Daily Life Lead pipe laying crews on the jobsite with safety, quality and productive work Organize manpower and materials for efficient installation operations Work with project Superintendent to prioritize work. Understand, use, and teach concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers. Outdoor work with all types of weather. Work safely. Pipe Layer Foreman Must Haves Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades. Knowledge of aggregates, pipe, structures, etc. Experience leading others Experience successfully laying and testing underground pipe including restrained joint, mechanical joint, push-joint ductile iron pipe, Hobas, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
