Refrigerant Piping - Copper Pipe Fitter
Will be responsible for cutting, measuring, and installing tubing & piping to commercial DX & VRF systems utilizing hand tools, brazing, etc.
Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC-related piping that's related to steam, hot water, heating and cooling systems
- Review blueprints to ensure correct installation.
- Utilize hand and power tools.
- Inspect systems to ensure correct installation.
- Experience with mini-split systems.
- All other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years exp in running copper pipe and PVC.
- Experience with Direct Expansion (DX) refrigerant systems a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, setting condensers, and running drains off fan coil units in commercial buildings.
- Experience with mini-splits.
- Hand tools are required for HVACr pipe installation.
- Must have experience with brazing and soldering copper lines.
- Must be able to work overtime if required.
