We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent PICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and highly skilled healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, self-motivated professional who is passionate about pediatric critical care and desires to make a significant difference in the lives of critically ill children. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in our state-of-the-art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:
As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will be required to perform the following duties:
1. Provide comprehensive, age-specific care to critically ill pediatric patients and their families.
2. Regularly assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions and responses to treatment.
3. Administer prescribed medications, perform IV insertions, and manage patient feeding and hydration.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure understanding of medical conditions, treatment plans, and healthcare needs.
6. Educate patients and families about illness, medical procedures, and ongoing care requirements.
7. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
8. Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the PICU Registered Nurse position, you need to meet the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care, pediatrics, or Acute Care.
4. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
7. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient privacy, and confidentiality.
10. Physical stamina to meet the demanding needs of caring for critically ill children.
