Our facility is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team and provide high-quality primary care to our valued residents. In this rewarding role, you'll work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of our residents, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and addressing acute needs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in a geriatric population.
Develop and implement individualized care plans that address residents' medical, physical, and psychological needs, in collaboration with the supervising physician.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures within your scope of practice as authorized by the supervising physician.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
Educate residents and families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
Advocate for residents' well-being and ensure they receive appropriate care.
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).

Qualifications:

Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in good standing.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a geriatric setting (nursing home, long-term care, or geriatric clinic) preferred.
Strong clinical skills in geriatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Proficient in EHR documentation.
Must be able to work effectively under the supervision of a physician.
