NEW Permanent Med Tech opening near Tumwater, WA. Job Description The position is responsible for professional Medical Technologist II bench duties within the laboratory, for the assigned section(s). The position performs routine and complex tests or analyses in any of these potential sections (as assigned): Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Toxicology, Microbiology, Molecular, Mycology, Immunohematology, LIS and Lean. The position has responsibility for planning, performing and evaluating laboratory testing analysis; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with physicians, patients, other hospital personnel, professional associations, and other organizations. Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related life science Successful completion of an accredited School of Medical Technology Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or Upon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government 1 year in a clinical Lab setting Proficiency in at least 3 of the listed sections in Position Summary Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally and achieving financial security.
